Undergraduate Studies in Informatics
Undergraduate Courses (1st Cycle)
It was back in 1976 that the University of Minho first proposed a undergraduate course in the area of Information Technologies. It was a pioneering project that has had important consequences, both in the local socio-economic tissue, as well as the driving force of a whole scientific and applicational development area. Since then, this project has expanded into several more specific courses, that have proved to have the necessary strength to keep attracting students and employers.
The courses currently available in this area are::

- BSc in Informatics Engineering (LEI), a 1st Cylce 3 year course that results from a transition to the Bologna Process of the old BSc in Informatics and Systems Engineering (LESI)
