Bio

Nuno F. Rodrigues is an Assistant Professor in the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave. He is currently the head of the Digital Games Research Centre (DIGARC) where he investigates new methodologies and technologies for the improvement and development of digital games.

He is also a member of the Algoritmi research unit at Minho University. His main research interests focus on the application of sound programming methods and analysis to the development of serious games and medical systems. He coordinates and is involved in several research and development projects, namely projects funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, and projects in cooperation with technology companies (Portlane, Quidbox).

He is currently the Director of the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave Nuno F. Rodrigues received his Lic. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2003 from Minho University, Braga, Portugal. In 2009 he received his Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering from the Engineering School at Minho University. Between 2009 and 2010 he joined the European project CACE (Computer Aided Cryptography Engineering) as a Postdoc Researcher.
