Mission
The Assessment and Quality of Teaching Office has as its main mission the promotion of improvement in teaching/learning, thus contributing to the strategic management and quality culture of the University of Minho.

Main activities
- Planning teaching staff development programmes
- Supporting the development and implementation of innovative projects in the scope of the quality of teaching/learning
- Emphasising the student’s education, by following up their academic performance, by promoting the acquisition of extracurricular skills, and by promoting the national and international certification of their education
- Promoting seminaries, debates and workshops
- Developing studies directed to the quality improvement
The Evaluation and Quality of Teaching Office is committed to continuous improvement in quality, thereby being able to respond to the challenges associated with the European Convergence of Higher Education.
