Abstract of EP 0852359  (A1)
The printing master production method uses a central processor communicating with a number of computer users via a data network. The data transmission capacity requirement of the network is reduced by using low resolution graphical data representation elements. These are provided by the computer users for counterparts of corresponding graphical data of a high resolution programme used by the processor. The user programme at each computer allows the user to select the required printing parameters for the central processor.
