Jira2SVN provides bi-directional integration between JIRA and Subversion, removing the shortfalls of existing integration products and plug-ins. Jira2SVN enables users to record modified Subversion files and comments within a JIRA issue record quickly and easily, minimising opportunities for human error. The integration between JIRA and Subversion is bi-directional so allowing users to also record JIRA record information against Subversion revision history. Unlike existing Subversion plug-ins for JIRA, Jira2SVN extends functionality and secures end-user compliance in several key areas (see the comparison chart below)
The above diagram shows a user committing to Subversion using the Jira2SVN tool. In this example, there is one instance of Subversion and one JIRA instance. User ‘David’ commits to Subversion as usual, JIRA2SVN displays all issue records currently assigned to David based upon the fully configurable filters. David selects a JIRA issue and completes the commit process.
This example shows a common configuration of multiple Subversion repositories associated with different JIRA instances. Projects C and D share a JIRA instance, upon commit issues associated with the particular project are displayed based upon configured filters. ![]() Contact us for more information on how Jira2SVN can benefit your business |
