The International Meetings of the Portuguese Carbohydrate Group – best known as GLUPOR’s - started in 1995 (GLUPOR 1) under the auspices of the Portuguese Chemical Society.

The multidisciplinarity of these meetings created the opportunity for national and international researchers in any field of carbohydrate chemistry to meet every two years, present and discuss their recent achievements.

We are very pleased to welcome all scientists who intend to participate in GLUPOR 8 and we will do our best to provide conditions for high level scientific exchange and enjoyable social events.

We hope all participants have a profitable and memorable visit to Braga.
