"Free as in Freedom"

Üdvözöljük a Free Software Foundation Europe (Európai Szabad Szoftver Alapítvány) honlapján. Az FSFE 2001. március 10-én indult; célja a szabad szoftverek minden európai vonatkozásának támogatása, különös tekintettel a GNU Projektre. Aktívan támogatjuk a szabad szoftverek fejlesztését, illetve a GNU-alapú operációs rendszerek (mint pl. a GNU/Linux) terjedését. Ezenkívül támogató-központként szolgálunk politikusok, ügyvédek és újságírók számára annak érdekében, hogy biztosítsuk a szabad szoftver jogi, politikai és társadalmi jövőjét.

Az FSFE egyéni hozzájárulók segítségével végzi el a munkáját, különösen az FSFE pártoló tagok segítségével. Segíthet úgy is, hogy belép a közösségbe, és másokat is erre bíztat.

FSFE is present with an information and merchandise booth at the 8th Linux-Infotag Augsburg. The event takes place on 28 March 2009 from 9:30 to 17:30 in the IT faculty of the Augsburg University. Admission is free.
Reinhard Müller gives a speech called "5 most popular fallacys about Free Software (or are they lies?)". The speech is in German and targeted at everybody interested in Free Software.
