ФССЕ е основана на 10 март 2001 и подкрепя всички Европейски страни на
Свободния софтуер, особено на
проекта GNU. Ние активно подкрепяме
развитието на Свободния софтуер и разпространението на операционни системи,
базирани на GNU, като GNU/Linux. Също така, ние предоставяме център за помощ на
политици, адвокати и журналисти за да осигурим юридическото, политическо и
социално бъдеще на Свободния софтуер.
Работата на ФССЕ става възможна благодарение на много индивидуални
приноси, в частност на Сдружението на ФССЕ.

Web browser interoperability: FSFE welcomes EC's decision and offers support

Free Software Foundation Europe welcomes the European Commission's
decision and offers its support in the coming anti-trust
investigation. As stated previously in a letter to the European
Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes, anti-competitive behaviour is
unacceptable, whether it occurs as 'tying' products with dominant
market segments, or in circumventing standards and fair access.

Georg Greve, president of the FSFE will deliver a keynote speech entitled
"To dare more freedom" at the CeBIT in Hanover (Hall 6, Open Source
Forum). The keynote is scheduled on 3 March 2009 at 11:00hrs and will be

Fellowship Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany

area will take place in Frankfurt: We are going to meet in the "Club
