About: ua is a simple command line tool that finds sets of identical files. The name is derived from the Hungarian word ugyanaz, meaning the same. The development of ua was motivated by the disturbingly often recurring event of waiting too long for a shell script using sorts, md5sums, diffs, and the like to finish finding identical files.
About: PeerStream Audio Video Streaming server is a lightweight, scalable and multi-purpose streaming server for broadcasting nearly every known audio and video format. It supports all major formats and can be configured to use other, not directly supported media types. Encoding of live data is also possible. Streaming via unicast, multicast, podcast, UPnP shares and bandwidth-saving via a peer-to-peer-network is supported. Changes: This version supports automated upstream bandwidth detection for the peers. No user interaction is necessary to decide what capabilities a peer has.

About: The Linux LiveCD VoIP Router is based on the SIP Express Router (SER). It runs on Linux LiveCD Router and can serve as a SIP Proxy or a VoIP PBX, or both. It has easy Web user administration and requires no software installation. It can be connected to multiple A-Z termination providers and to your own PSTN termination gateway/router. It supports any SIP soft or hardware phones, such as XTen, Cisco ATA 186, Grandstream, Sipura, Mitel, and more. It includes a media server for conference call bridge and voicemail to email. Changes: This release has an integrated OpenVPN Server optional module. It allows encrypted UDP forwarding for any softphone on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It also works with hardware phones located behind an OpenVPN router such as OpenWrt.
About: GNU ddrescue is a data recovery tool. It copies data from one file or block device (hard disc, cdrom, etc) to another, trying hard to rescue data in case of read errors. GNU ddrescue does not truncate the output file if not asked to. So, every time you run it on the same output file, it tries to fill in the gaps. The basic operation of GNU ddrescue is fully automatic. That is, you don't have to wait for an error, stop the program, read the log, run it in reverse mode, etc. If you use the logfile feature of GNU ddrescue, the data is rescued very efficiently (only the needed blocks are read). Also you can interrupt the rescue at any time and resume it later at the same point. Changes: When splitting, this version jumps to the next non-split area after two consecutive errors have been encountered in the current one. The new option "--retrim" has been added.
About: NoMachine NX is a fast terminal server and desktop virtualization system based on the X11 protocol. NX is an order of magnitude faster than VNC or X11 and can run on bandwidth as narrow as 10 kBit/sec. In addition, NX translates and embeds the MS Windows Terminal Server and VNC protocols into X/NX, enabling users to compress and accelerate remote Windows and VNC sessions. The NX project provides a suite of libraries and X11proxying agents implementing efficient compression and optimized transport of X11, SMB, IPP, HTTP, and arbitrary protocols like audio and video over the Internet. Changes: The new packages provide fixes for a number of issues, including those with NX and Fedora 8. Among them: SELinux may prevent NX sessions from starting on Fedora 8, NX Node may be unable to verify if the /tmp/.X11-unix exists, the X11 agent may crash during the font reconnection procedure, and incorrect mouse events may occur when running Java 1.6.0 applications in rootless mode.

About: butt (broadcast using this tool) is an easy to use, open source, multi-OS tool that grabs audio data from your sound card (line-in, CD, wave, etc.), encodes the PCM data into MP3/OGG, and sends it to a streaming server. ShoutCast and IceCast are supported. Changes: This release lets you choose your own display colors and fixes some buffer overflows.
About: Crow is a modern GUI builder for the GTK+ toolkit. It is an advanced IDE-embeddable RAD tool designed to fulfill the needs of desktop programmers who want to create multi-platform GTK+ based applications with minimal GUI coding. Crow is full-featured yet lightweight: its tree-based Property Explorer solves many GUI constructing tasks in a versatile manner without additional popup dialogs. The project is targeted to develop a tool that is coherent and productive for experienced GTK+ users as well as simple and accessible for newcomers. Changes: GtkFrame/GtkExpander labels did not match the underlying labels. The "Translatables" dialog auto-selects strings with spaces. Dialog buttons with response close a preview window. GtkScrollBox.auto-viewport is not NULL for CrowCustom. names with "_" have mnemonics in selector menus. Configuration keys were renamed.

It requires PHP to run and FTP access only for installation. Changes: This release focuses on bugfixes from release 2.2. Many IE problems are fixed, and the system works on Safari and Opera. The Dutch and Spanish translations have been integrated.
About: Advene (Annotate Digital Video, Exchange on the NEt) is aimed at providing a model and a format to share annotations about digital video documents (movies, courses, conferences, etc.), as well as tools to edit and visualize the hypervideos generated from both the annotations and the audiovisual documents. Teachers, moviegoers, etc. can use them to exchange multimedia comments and analyses about video documents. The project also aims at studying the way that communities of users (teachers, moviegoers, students, etc.) will use these self-publishing tools to share their audiovisual "readings", and to envision new editing and viewing interfaces for interactive comment and analysis of audiovisual content. Changes: Along with many usability enhancements, this version offers a new virtual montage view, and many improvements in the timeline for viewing and editing/organising annotations. Text autocompletion has been generalized to the note-taking editor. The results of searches can be converted into montages or new annotations. Dynamic views editing is improved by the availability of common predefined values and the ability to activate multiple dynamic views. Importers for MPEG7 (FreeTextAnnotations), Anvil, and AnnotationGraph have been added.
About: QBankManager is a home banking program. It is the reference application for AqBanking, AqHBCI, AqDTAUS, and AqGeldkarte, therefore it supports all transfer types and jobs of those projects. Changes: This release uses the latest version of AqBanking3.
About: XSane is a GTK-based X11 frontend for SANE. It works either standalone or as a gimp plugin. It is an alternative to xscanimage. Changes: Several layout changes were made. Email mode now allows multiple mail recipients. Scanning and conversion speed was increased on certain machine types. An infinite loop problem with some scanners was solved. Translations were updated.
About: system-config-printer configures a CUPS server. It uses the CUPS API (bound to Python with pycups) to do this. The communication with the server is performed using IPP. As a result, it is equally able to configure a remote CUPS server as a local one. Changes: Some user interface fixes and other minor bugfixes have been made. The job applet now throttles the rate of checking for jobs when in start-up mode. The job applet icon now only displays when appropriate.

About: Libchipcard is a framework for easy access to chipcards/smartcards via chip card terminals/readers. It uses the CTAPI or IFD driver provided by manufacturers. It works under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Mac OS X, and Windows, and has been tested with many different readers (even in parallel). Changes: This is the first stable release of Libchipcard4 which no longer links against OpenSSL. It has been tested on Linux and Windows.
About: AqBanking is a modular and generic interface to online banking tasks, financial file formats (import/export) and bank/country/currency information. It provides frontends for Qt, KDE, GTK, and console. AqBanking uses backend plugins to actually perform the online tasks. HBCI, OFX DirectConnect, YellowNet, GeldKarte, and DTAUS discs are currently supported. AqBanking is used by GnuCash, KMyMoney,and QBankManager. Changes: This is the first stable release of AqBanking which no longer links against OpenSSL. It is already used by QBankManager and KMyMoney.
About: Gwenhywfar is a multi-purpose library that provides useful functions such as configuration file handling, a full featured message generation and parsing engine, and an operating system abstraction layer. It is used by Libchipcard2, AqBanking, QBankManager, OpenHBCI, AqMoney, and various other projects. Changes: This is the first stable release of Gwenhywfar which no longer links against OpenSSL. OpenSSL is still used for one of the tools, but the library does not link against it.
About: RESTORE is an enterprise network backup and recovery solution for Windows, Novell, Mac OS X (data fork), Unix, and Linux systems. It is scalable to a complete backup solution for multiple workstations, servers, and data centers. It operates over local area networks, wide area networks, and the Internet. Changes: The GUI interface has been completed. The FTP bug was fixed. This is the Debian/Ubuntu package release.
About: Inverse SOGo Connector for Thunderbird is an extension which transforms Thunderbird into a full DAV client for groupware servers such as SOGo, OpenGroupware.org, and Citadel. It does this by adding support for remote DAV address books and by adding features to be used along with the Lightning calendar extension. It is a merge of the Lightning Enhancer and the GroupDAV Addressbook Connector. Changes: Autocompletion support was added for CardDAV address books. FreeBUSY URL support was added. The issues with drag and drop from directories was fixed. The issues when deleting and editing CardDAV directories were fixed.
About: 'Q' DVD-Author is a GUI frontent for dvdauthor and related tools. The goal is to provide an easy-to-use, yet powerful and complete interface to generate DVD menus, slideshows, and videos to burn on a DVD under Linux. Changes: The dvdauthor.xml generation was improved. The capability to [Play Multiple] files with one button was added. SemiTransarent colors were added to the masks. MaskObjects added and were integrated with the ButtonLibrary. Many more additions and a whole lot of bugfixes were made .
About: MESSyFront is a frontend for the MESS emulator. The main goal of the project is to get the user into the emulation environment as quickly as possible. The secondary goal is targeting Tandy Color Computer users that run Linux (or *nix environments). Changes: A bug that would prevent the user from entering the name of the ROM image without its extension or path was fixed.
About: libopkele is a C++ implementation of an OpenID decentralized identity system. It provides OpenID protocol handling, leaving authentication and user interaction to the implementor. Changes: Fixups were made for gcc 4.3 compiler. Minor bugfixes and code cleanup were done.
About: Domain Technologie Control (DTC) is a Web-based control panel for hosting that can delegate the task of creating subdomains, email, and FTP accounts to users for the domain names they own. It has support for many programs, including bind 8 and 9, MySQL, Apache, PHP 4, qmail, Postfix, Courier, Dovecot, ProFTPD, Webalizer, and mod-log-sql. It can also generate backup scripts, calculation scripts, and config files using a single system UID/GID, and monitor all traffic accounting per user and per service. It is fully skinnable and translated into several languages. Changes: This version adds the possibility to add custom vhosts directives for all subdomains. The error.log is rotated for all vhosts. The custom /tmp folder of all vhosts is cleaned. Spam and ham email are forwarded to spamassassin's sa-learn. The quota system was fixed for VPS. Many minor bugs were fixed. The packaging system now uses a more standard Makefile to ease porting to other Unix flavors.
