Abstract: Interest in bidirectional transformations has increased in the past few years and has been studied in a number of different disciplines including pro- gramming languages, model-driven engineering, transformation systems and database management systems. This research project is clearly a proposal on the Information Technology area. However, it is also related to Environmental Science and Materials Science: two other areas mentioned in this call for project proposals.
