I am a postdoctoral researcher at HASLab/INESC TEC and invited assistant professor at the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal.

I hold a Ph.D in Informatics and Telecommunications from the University of Toulouse, France. During my Ph.D, I visited EPFL twice (hosted by Rachid Guerraoui) as research intern in 2010 and 2011. After that, I got affiliated by INSA de Lyon, France, during 2012-2013, as a postdoc.

I am currently working on relaxed consistency models in distributed systems (EC, CRDTs, etc.) and on Fault Tolerance. I am also interested in any Distributed Systems topic like: fault tolerance (Byzantine, Benign, BAR), scalability, and consistency in any sort of distributed systems (cooperative, P2P, Grid, HPC, Cloud, etc.).

I am currently organising the InfoBlender biweekly HASLab seminar.
