The participation in this event implies the submission, presentation and discussion of a scientific paper that should present substantial results in theoretical, empirical or applied research, in any Artificial Intelligence field.

The paper may be written in Portuguese or in English and should be formatted according to the Springer rules for the LNCS editions (Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science – http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html), never exceeding 10 pages.

The document must include the following information: title, author and supervisor(s), abstract, keywords, academic degree to attain with the work in progress, beginning date and foreseen conclusion date.

The papers submitted will be reviewed by some well known specialists and all submissions will receive a report of the revisions. The reviewing process does not have a selective mean, but, instead, intends to give the author a set of comments and suggestions in order to promote the enhancement of its work.

The divulgation of the accepted papers for presentation at the event will be made after the final submission. All other participants will be invited to exhibit their work, in a session open to the public, as a poster. All papers submitted will be included in the symposium proceedings, an APPIA edition with ISBN.
