SDIA 2007 is an associated event of the EPIA 2007 – Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence, to be held in Guimarães between the 3rd and the 7th of December, 2007. The Doctoral Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (SDIA 2007) has, as its main motivation, the making of a forum for discussion of post graduated studies, thesis and dissertations on Artificial Intelligence, increasing the integration and the cooperation between researchers from this scientific area and promoting a better visibility of their ongoing work to the academic and industrial communities. ObjectivesWith the organisation of this event, the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence – APPIA intends to stimulate the improvement of the quality of post graduated studies, Ph.D. thesis and M.Sc. dissertations, in the scientific area of Artificial Intelligence. AddresseesThe addressees of this event are all Ph.D. and M.Sc. students, portuguese or developing their work in portuguese higher education institutions, whose developments are related to some relevant topics to the scientific field of Artificial Intelligence, thus, being invited to participate in this associated event of the EPIA 2007. ParticipantsThe participation of the whole scientific community of the Artificial Intelligence field is welcome and essential to give significance to this event.
